Been feeding them every day but just 5-10 small worms but they still seem fat. How often do y’all recommend?

5-10 each or for everyone. I would feed every other day and switch it up some. I feed frozen bloodworms, hatch baby brine shrimp and culture vinegar eels. I use this, it doesn’t require feeding or aeration and is so easy. https://a.co/d/40PMK2g Good luck!

  2. We generally feed every other day, or twice per week in a stable, diverse system, with access to supplementary vegetation.
This depends on the available plant matter and appropriate diet seen in your tank.

Biologically speaking, every ~2 weeks. In a well-planted, diverse system attempting to emulated a natural environment, our Fish begin to suffer after ~20 days without sufficient available nutrients.
Jeremy Gay and Dick Mills recommend feeding a large meal every 15 days.
Some YouTubers recommend significant meals to the point the food might spoil before it’s eaten once per month.

I wouldn’t necessarily feed every day. But good quality food when you do. There aren’t any set rules unless you follow a procedure and blah, blah.
Fish should look healthy and be disease free. If you can achieve that, then what you’re doing is right,

I have fish like that I’m supposed to feed every 2-3 days, but I feel weird not feeding them everyday, so instead, I feed them very little, like enough to eat within 30 seconds or less, and on the “off” days, I feed them a bit of boiled broccoli
