I recently went on a trip to Japan and picked up this shimano DC reel, used, at a Tackle Berry shop.
Had it on an abu Garcia rod from OfferUp to test it out but wanted to get something a bit up there like the reel I purchased.
Sooooo I ended up buying this Phoenix rod.. (:
What do y’all think about my combo?

My idea was to use it for larger swim baits and for shore/pier fishing when I decide to do salt water
The m1 is a good rod, I have the 711 ml.
