Ye, pike chiclids look cute at the fish store, but they are crazy when they start to grow.
There are some dwarf species that get fairly smaller, but nothing too small

pikes are great… cool cichlids and reasonable tank mates. If they can’t swallow you they are very chill, but also handle business if messed with.
