Hello all, I’ll be visiting the lovely area this weekend Saturday and Sunday, I plan to grab a visitor license and throw a line in the water, just wondering if there are any locals with suggestions as to where to fish publicly in these areas.
I packed a pretty light weight kit, consisting of a 2-5 ft short square bill crank bait, a deeper 8ft crank bait, I’m bringing one of my trusty craw colored lipless crankbaits. In my home state of Wisconsin these guys are getting the bites right now. I also packed a lipless In a color I’ve never thrown.
For the rest of the kit, I packed, a few 3/0 ewg hooks, 2 jigs, a biospawn craw, and some 4 inch flukes in green pumpkin
I packed two small runs of fluro carbon to make leaders, I packed a small pliers, a drop shot rig, and some weights to run a Texas rig.
Can anyone think of anything I missed? And make any suggestions of public fishing places in the area I’ll be visiting less
