1. I know nothing about snails
2. I did not mean to get these snails, they were a surprise
3. I’m in the middle of the cycle, no fish yet.
5. Inserted a glamour shot of the bigger one but see the other two pics for the snail wrestling.
So I saw the bigger one on top of the smaller one and then I watched them for a minute and it was very strange. They were like…. wrestling. The small one got on top. Then they fell off. They’re fine now, but, are they reproducing? Were they fighting? Please help I’m so lost and mildly concerned

Yes. They were mating. Yes. They were fighting. Snail love involves no love. Think jousting match where the loser gets pregnant. Sometimes everybody gets prego. Those are ramshorn and you have the option of eradication now and careful observation for a few weeks or “holy god where did all the snails come from” later.
