Caught a 2-1/4 lbs blue gill while bass fishing today

Yeah so, I was throwing the spinner bait and hooked up…. I thought it was a nice bass and was super suprised to see this on the end of my line. 2.22 pound blue gill to be exact

Also caught a few 3+ pound bass, lost a much bigger one on the spinner bait. He jumped about 5ft away from the shore and shook the spinner bait :/
