My kayak sticks a few feet out of my truck so I clip a red square safety flag to the end of the kayak. I have lost 2 so far this year – oddly both the inexpensive Malone flags. I used a steel carabiner clip, not a cheesy aluminum one. Can’t believe they broke off, and doubt they were stolen while the rest of my gear in the truck bed undisturbed. How do you clip on your safety flag,
