Make your own holes. Use bolts, washers, crush washers (or you can find nuts with the washers in them already) and nuts. Go to Home Depot and you should be fine with maybe 5/16” inch in size. They won’t go anywhere. I bought the 4’x4’ trailer from harbor freight for my 12’ yak, extended the tongue, but I just strap it to the body of the trailer
