So I’m thinking about upgrading to having a rack for my kayak on the truck. Normally I just shove it in the bed but I’d like to take the kayak camping so need the bed space. There’s lots of $1k+ options and then racks like this for $180 at Lowe’s. Any advice or things to watch out for? I have a Rollup tonneau cover already.

Make sure that a kayak carrier is compatible with that rack.
