how would you fish these weeds, aside from a texas rig? what kind of fish might hang around them?
very nice lake in central nc, only issue is it’s riddled with these weeds. would appreciate any help

Unfortunately I wouldn’t realistically dip into those without a weedless rig. Hence the Texas rig. If you don’t want that I would just hit a different part of the water man

A frog maybe, but even that might get hung up.

Bass love marshy areas like these. Personally I would use something like a drop shot or ned (you can also rig these weedless but either is fine). Something that doesn’t have trebles like a crank/jerk bait. I use braid primarily and I find it a simple matter of pulling the lure out of weeds if I ever get snagged.

A juice jig is meant for heavy cover like this but personally i’d flip a creature bait
