I live in northern Michigan and I just want to make sure these lures would work well onto a gx2 medium-heavy (1/4- 3/8 oz) casting rod? I recently purchased a pdl 106 kayak and I’m not 100% comfortable with a spinning rod quite yet especially to be trying it on a yak 😂

Honestly should be pretty solid except for the frog. You need something pretty stiff and fast to set the hook on a frog and pull fish out of weeds. May have trouble with a few of the heavier chatterbaits as well if you’re ripping them out of weeds but not too bad. Especially in open water.
