Not the surf, but right near the river mouth trying to catch my first striper in MA. I see a school of baitfish (feeding?). I tried a paddletail and sp minnow directly through the school but couldn’t seem to get anything. I appreciate any advice. Thank you!

If u tried swimming it thru and no bites, let it sink all the way down then a slow steady drag UP thru the school. Might entice one from da bottom.
