Having trouble deciding between the 2. I love the idea of the Jackson's pedal system, but the old town is a bit cheaper. Looking for something for lakes and rough water that I could still take down a shallow river, hence my interest in the Jackson's drive. But I've also heard that people just dont lock down they're old town pedal drives if they expect to hit something and its fine. From what I've heard the Jackson drives are a much more efficient aswell. But I'm also interested in stability and transport capacity, which the Big water seems to win in. What's the word?

Also meant to ask if the 2022 version of the coosa fd has the mark 4 pedal drive, or if it’s an outdated version?
I have an Old Town and love it.
I have the predator which is the same as the big water and it has been a Great yak for about 5 years now. It is also very stable.
