I got my girlfriend and I kayaks since most spots around here are well known and almost always full of people.
Besides life vest, oar, rod holders, what are your favorite accessories and gear that made the experience more enjoyable.

Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, water
in that kayak, i would highly recommend a comfortable cushion to sit on. for me, it’s all about maximizing fishing time and cramping legs and a sore ass will ruin a good day.
Good polarized glasses rod holders. Nice net or gaff. And I like having a ice chest.
