I was hoping to get some advice on this crack in the yak. I was planning on doing a quick little plastic welding on this crack to make sure it doesn’t expand. Any tips or advice?

Is that original equipment? The screw looks loose. Is the area “cracked” or just scratched?

You’ll need to drill stop each crack first before starting plastic welding. I would also remove that piece of track before starting as well.
If that black panel is removable, I would also add a block of closed cell foam under that spot after plastic welding to help add support.
