Setups not casting as far anymore any suggestions?
I use a 1.5-4kg rod 1-8g and this 2500 as shown and can barely cast 3-4gram lures. Could this have anything to do with the dip in the line on my spool? Would re spooling be worth a shot?

I should add it almost feels like the lines sticking to itself when casting

What pound test line is that, or what diameter. 3-4 gram is pretty light you would need 15lb test braid at the heaviest.

braid sets in on itself after awhile, cast as far as you can and pull out about 30 yards of line. it should be coming off the spool super easily, if not then you need to pull out extra yardage of braid to loosen it up
