Made these rod holders so I can pack a few extra rods… worried about the overhang if I have a fish on though. Thoughts?

The holders are secure, holding 2 6’ rods. I have a few holders on my crate but wanted to bring one more rod, don’t necessarily need both holders.

I can easily get my rod tip above and around them with a fish on, but still am concerned for some reason. Idk lol. Any thoughts?
