Hey everyone! I just set up a new tank for my betta, and wanted to know what everyone thinks! Is there any improvements I can make to make this little guy happier? I also thought about introducing shrimp, to see if my betta would be okay with another tank mate. There’s a snail in there right now and they get along. Also added a photo of when I got him vs. All the colour he’s developed now! I’ve got a filter and heater for the water too, just not in the photo I took

That’s a HUGE change omg! The only thing with bettas is that they are bipolar with new friends ( especially if he was there first ) if you like to try, I’d try to do a snail ( as they are kinda there ) to see. Shrimp, as much as they are fast zoomy guys, wouldn’t go so well with this setup as it’s extremely open for him to go hunting mode. Personally, I’d keep him by himself because they do just fine without others!
