Aquariums: I am color blind, can anyone help me read my water test?
I started this tank last Friday, i dont plan to add anything but shrimp and that wont be for a month or so. In the meantime, can anyone help me read my test?

Right now, your PH for freshwater is too high (close to 7.6).
Your nitrites and nitrates are very high as well — keep adding live bacteria to bring it down. The only way I have found to bring NO3 effectively down is using a sulphatised bed filter.
You ammonia levels are good.

Ph- 7.6
Ammonia- 0
Nitrite- looks to be in between .50-1.0? Either way there needs to be a water change
Nitrate- 10-20

Looks good except for the Nitrite and Nitrate readings. 50% water change if you haven’t in at least 2 weeks.

Looks like your nitrites are super high, which could be a sign that your tank is cycling as it should. If you have fish, though, they may not survive the high levels. If you have fish, I’d do a 50 percent water change right away. And add a product called Prime. Otherwise, let the tank do its thing, add fish food to feed the bacteria and check in a week or so. If the nitrites have gone down to light blue (I know you are color blind, so feel free to ask again- this forum can be very helpful), it means your tank is cycled.

I don’t usually advocate for it, but you can ask Google ai photo search to identify the color as well.

I have this same problem, is there anyway for me to find out the levels in a different way?

The makers at API need to make a colorblind version.
