What are the ideal specs for a rod for throwing bucktails between 1/2 oz and 2.5 oz (mostly 1/2 to 1 1/2 oz) both on the beachfront and in back bays for striped bass.

Tough to find a surf rod that goes doesn’t to 1/2 super well.
The Nex1 10 footer is a good fit tho.
The old Lami Arra 1203 was great for this, but might be tough to find one these days

I think you answered your own question. It’s a rod that can throw 1/2oz-3oz that you can use for both applications? Just get a 9’6 tsunami airwave elite and be done with it
