I think you can fit some more line on there, probably another 75-100 yds.

I try to leave a little space between the last wrap am and the edge of the spool.
That much line is going to give you some trouble.

Yeah i would strip it back a bit, maybe an 1/8 inch or so. I don’t like the line to be past the edge of the spool.

over spooled and loose. You can probably get away with it being loose by heaving a heavy weight out on your first cast and reeling it. Def need to fix the overspooling though.
