Hi everyone, I’m new to saltwater fishkeeping. I got two clownfish and a cardinalfish about a week ago. I cycled the tank before adding them and test water parameters regularly.
The first two photos are from last night, and the others are from this morning — the white spot on one clown’s mouth seems to have gotten worse overnight. There’s no visible mucus or other spots on the body. The fish is still eating, though not as much as before, and behavior otherwise seems normal.
Someone mentioned it could be Ich or Brooklynella, but I’m unsure. I was recommended MetroPlex, Methylene Blue, and setting up a quarantine tank, which I’m working on now.
Does this look like something serious? Should I treat the whole tank, or wait until I can isolate the fish? Any help is appreciated!
