Grew up wade fishing in the surf and offshore out of Freeport, TX but have always used cheap reels until they fall apart. I'm going to try to mix in some surf fishing along with wading in the surf early in the day and late afternoon this weekend….taking the fam for a quick "beach vacation" but y'all can see what I'm there for
