Yesterday, I was browsing the local Academy Sports and Outdoors when I came upon this Pelican Catch Classic 100. Various websites list it for $599.99 and this particular model has it as a HOT DEAL for $499.99, but at this particular ASAO it had a price tag of $349.99! That along with a 10% July 4th Military/Veteran discount, I was able to acquire this kayak for a measly $340 and some change. How did I do? I know I need to buy a paddle and something to assist me in staying buoyant in a capsized scenario. Any suggestions? Excited to finally do something I’ve always wanted to do.
