Looks like if you added a shim or two you could get more on there and fill the bottom up a little more evenly with the top. I don’t use abu reels tho so I’m not sure if they are designed to lay like this.

I would say youre about perfect. Remember to *feather* your line when casting. Manually flipping the bail arm and give the line a small tug before you start cranking. It will help prevent wind knots and line not being laid back on the spool correctly.
If you’ve feathered your spool. You can skip the tug after you’ve flipped the bail arm. The whole idea behind it is to keep the line tight before you start cranking.
