100% no lol, just another case of some dude thinking his kayak is worth todays retail price when they bought it 2 years ago.
You could get a BRAND NEW WARRANTY COVERED Yellowfin 120 from the manufacturer for 950 shipped to your door. No electric trolling motor and battery combo you dont even know the health of is worth 300 dollars either.
Offer 1k and then its worth it.
These idiots thinking they will get 95% of what they spent on used boats are delusional. You see them all over FB Market and CList selling 14′ Jon boat’s they put some plywood flooring and 150 dollar amazon seats in and a shitty 9.9 motor on a crap trailer they modified for like 5k+.

Agreed. Thanks

Id justify it over what the price of the kayak is alone and then add up all the other stuff, give or take some of the value with things being used. I’m not sure what the rules are in your state for having a motor on the vessel and you might need to get it registered. I’d recommend getting a lipo battery for the motor and going with a 30 lb or less thrust motor, 50 lb is overkill for a kayak.
