Hey there,
I need help identifying this fish. I caught it in a creek that primarily has rainbow trout running through it. It doesn’t look like your typical trout and can’t find anything online of it. (PS the orange stripe on its gill plate is not blood, it’s the actual color of the fish, also orange in the beginning of the fins)

Looks like a creek chub to me. But there are a lot of similar creek species that look similar.
