I mostly used aluminum/plastic pop rivets on my Pescador.
Measure the size of the current hole, find some rivets and check what the required hole needs to be. Hopefully it’s not too big but you can easily make it bigger.
The ones i used had little rubber o-rings but i still put a bit of silicone when installing to prevent water incursion.

I’d use a rivet or a well nut that is a little larger
Something like this but local is best, also don’t use silicone with these.
