Caught in bolin creek. Looks to me like a tessellated darter, but there's a lot of look-alikes like the johnny darter. Stoked on this catch though! My first ever darter.

    Tesselated Darter is very possible… but as of two years ago they separated into Northern and Southern species (E. olmstedi and E. maculaticeps) and I can’t tell the difference between the two personally. Maybe somebody can chime in there?
