Watched Laz's video a while ago and have been searching for the Daiwa rod he uses in this video. You can see it pretty well when hes fishing at 7:50. Looks like a Daiwa Steez maybe? but I cannot find the model hes rocking. Maybe its a custom idk. anybody know?

He mentions it’s a custom in the comments. Closest you’d get to that is a Steez real control, it may well the the rod that the modifications was built onto.
