Hey all,
I started fishing last year in Germany, targeting bream, carp, eel, and wels catfish. Now I want a rod that can handle multiple species and cast long distances.

I was confused so i narrowed down between feeder rods and carp rods (which is stronger but less sensitive compared to feeder). I also fish a lot in Asia for catfish and garfish, so I need something versatile for both regions.

One option I found Daiwa Black Widow Tele Feeder 3.60m 120g – seems promising.

What would you recommend for multi-species, long-distance fishing? Thanks!

Tight lines! 🎣

I would do 2 rods, cat and carp are really strong so you need a heavy rod

But catching the other species are just plain boring with a heavy carp rod and gets more fun with a lighter feeder rod
