I purchased this catch classic 120 on Monday second hand. I haven’t even had the chance to take it out yet.. it seems the seal or whatever has split open…
Yes I looked everything over before purchasing this and it was sold out of a reputable local business, so I don’t believe I was scammed. However who knows.
My main concern is this possible to repair and if so how?
I’m at a loss for words and am extremely upset. I’m just really hoping I didn’t throw 650$ out the window.

Have you contacted the store? If this is new, this should be a warranty item. I haven’t attempted a repair on a pelican kayak yet, but that would be a challenging repair i would think. These are two piece thermomolded vs. rotomolded, which are easier to repair.
I would contact Pelican customer support that looks like it could be from a manufacturing defect, that’s right where they melt the top and bottom half of the kayak together that’s one of the main reasons people don’t like pelicans.
