Pairing this rod with a Shimano Nasci 3000 for finesse fishing. Should I get ML or M power?

I would say medium light if you’re looking to be more finesse. I jave the medium light 7 foot of this rod and its great. And if your not doing saltwater I would go with the shimano sahara over the Nasci. Pretty much the same reel minus the salt water sealing. But saves you around 20 bucks.

ML if you are talking about 3in swimbaits, drop shot, ned rig – anything with a thin wire or exposed hook. Medium if you are going to be doing lots of wacky rig or weightless Texas rig stuff, things that require a bigger hook and more powerful hookset

Nasci is getting updated at icast this week. Don’t buy one until they’re on sale.

ML for finesse. I use the M power for stuff like senkos, small squarebills, poppers, etc. ML for dropshot, ned, neko.

ML for the rod
2000 or max 2500 size for the reel. You don’t need the extra line capacity of a 3000. Also, the Nasci is great, I have 2 of them. But, at around the same price, you could get an Ultegra from one of the JDM sites that ship overseas.
