Getting into fishing more and seen this pop up and went and picked it up.
Figured this is a good way to test the waters with bait casters.
I'll be coming from spin cast right now.
Spinning combo
Abu Garcia appex ultra cast combo 7’
Med heavy
And
Bait cast combo
Daiwa PS2-5Bi
Berkley LR50 6’6 med
Looking to cleaning them up and getting some action out of them.
Anyone have recommendations prior to use?

Reel oil, you’ll need to lubricate both of em very well before use and maybe replace the line, depending on what they are it’s a good idea to do so, fluorocarbon becomes brittle after a long while and should be replaced
That spinning reel isn’t worth a cent. The bait caster might be worth $5-$10 if the brakes and bearings are good. But I highly doubt they are at all. If you are looking to go from spinning to bait caster, this is not the one you want to start with. This is garbage and will be more difficult to learn.
