This carp over is my first carp on a boille and it is not the first time I've used them but it's the only time I've caught one on these.
The boille in the image are the Decathlon Monster Crab 0.55mm and I've used strawberry boiles also from Decathlon before but they were way bigger.
Is this the reason?

  1. I haven’t had luck with boilies either. I do have luck with tiger nuts, or fake corn.

  2. Where are you at? Our friends across the pond feed their carp a steady diet of boillies, and have for decades.

Our “wild “ carp have no experience with such, and more natural baits seem to work better. I use tiger nuts almost exclusively.
