Hi all, I have an old town sportsman 120PDL salty. Got rained on and collected some water. While draining it I notice a bunch of what look like shavings coming out of it? Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Itās probably still shavings from the factory. When holes are drilled in kayaks it makes a ton of shavings. A new kayak will be littered with shavings.
Do a deep clean of your hull and spray and pump everything out. If you find shavings after that? Might have an issue that you need to address.

Pretty normal, the results from drilling and hardware installation during assembly if I had to guess.
