Personally, I would probably pass on this if you’re planning to fish. My experience is fishing from a sitting position becomes surprisingly fatiguing and that is compounded when you’re already fighting to stay upright and comfortable. Lacking a decent seat, you might find your time in the water to be somewhat of a struggle. Time spent struggling in your kayak, whether it be with your body/comfort, the wind, balance, whatever, means time not spent fishing.
But your mileage may vary and this may be a good starting point for you.
