My girlfriend’s stepdad took us fishing and on the trip she accidentally snapped the top of his rod. Although we were apologetic and wanted to replace it, he refused and said it’s fine and it’s part of learning to fish. I’ve tried googling the brand and the info on the rod but I’m not making much sense of it as I know nothing about the sport and would be really appreciative of some help. The info I have that’s from the rod is as below:

It’s a cheap rod, get another rod around 60 bucks. Get it specifically made for type of fish he likes. Panfish and trout, bass, or inshore for ocean
