I don’t know if this a cutthroat or a rainbow or a hybrid looking at pictures of both and can’t really tell

Depends on where you are, but generally I can tell even the hybrids apart by looking at 1. Face shape, this ones head looks like a rainbow, cuttys don’t normally have that “divot” above the eye. 2. If the “red” is on the side and belly is white ish, rainbow. If slashed throat, cut bow. If throat slashed and belly is “red”, I assume cutty. Again, I’m used to variants of west slope and Rocky Mountain cuttys, yours might be different. From the pics, I’d say that’s a chunky rainbow and an awesome catch!

Rosy red rainbow, cutthroat will generally have red under jar at minimum..sometimes faint and sometimes dominant w/belly color possibly too..beautiful fish
