Has anyone purchased this cart and upgraded to balloon tires? Want to purchase the vevor 12” tires but not sure if they’ll fit or if there’s a better option.

Don’t. Just don’t. If you want balloon tires, it’s because you’re close to a beach. That thing is made of steel, not aluminum. Buy once, cry once.

Yes, it’s $100. The 12″ vevor tires are at least $50, I assume. Spend a little more and get the h20x cart from Academy that already has the 12″ beach wheels.

HOWEVER, I have that exact h20x cart and I have already gotten 16″ wheels for it because I felt the 12″ were probably too small (and I found a great deal on 16″ wheels).

If I had it to do over again, I’d have just paid for the fish ‘n mate sr and been done with it.

I couldn’t pass up the h20x cart because it was $200 (at the time), 20% off and free shipping, so $160 plus tax. I like the cart just fine, and I got some cheap 8 or 10 inch hard tires for non-beach areas and it’s a pain on uneven terrain because of the wheel diameter. So, again, I’m glad I got the 16″ beach wheels.

I had that exact cart and ended up putting those balloon wheels on it. Just had to get different ubolts and waller out the holes a bit. I used the shaft that came with the balloon wheels and got some nylon spacers from Ace to shim the wheels out. It worked, but it was far from perfect.

Those carts are super low quality and I ended up using some scrap aluminum I had for more bracing on the cart. It lasted a few months before it deteriorated and I gave it to some scrap metal guy. Kept the balloon wheels though, those worked great.
