I really only bankfish, and lugging this big tackle box is kinda bothersome, so I wanted to get something that I could put this in and get some more storage. I’ve been looking around but haven’t been able to find any fishing backpacks with the size/storage I’m looking for, are there any specific places I should be shopping?

The rod and water bottle holders aren’t necessary, but they would be nice. The thing is I’m not even sure what kinds are on the market because my Google is flooded with Temu/AliExpress shop links or bags that are too small😭 The dimensions of the tackle box shown are 15.5”L 6”W 8”H, and the second smaller one is 12”L 6”W 3”H. Thanks for any advice or help!

  1. Evolution outdoors has all the shit you need in one package, there are a few sizes to choose from. Only downside is the price but imo well worth it

  2. Would it be easier to have a dedicated backpack that has its own sections? Putting that box in a bag seems redundant. I know Plano makes bags as well as evolution that have tackle space and then storage on the top

I have a Lews backpack i love. I think it’s the custom series. It’s got a plastic molded bottom so it’s a bit sturdier than others. It holds a TON.

I keep two 3700s, a 3600, a 3500 and a small box of swim jigs in the main compartment. It also fits about 20 bags of soft plastics, my scale, sunscreen and bug spray, first aid kit, and a bunch of random tools. It’s a bit pricey around $80 but it’s lasted me over a year with no tears. I fish 2-4 times a week and am not easy on my gear. Highly recommend
