I purchased this combo for freshwater bass fishing, do you guys think it will be fine even though it’s a saltwater setup? If so, are there any major differences between something like this and a normal freshwater spinning setup?

Salt works fine for fresh, but not the other way around. The difference is that a freshwater setup will be bricked after a day of saltwater fishing.

I have 4 Penn battles and use them all in saltwater. They perform well and I am very satisfied.

IME, “inshore” rods are generally longer than “bass” rods. It probably also has a reel bigger than most other bass combos.

Just remember that fish don’t care what gear you’re using. If it works, it works. (Just don’t use fresh water gear in salt water)
