Ready for vintage day topwater!! It started as a rough finished true temper dynamic seamless hollow steel rod. I left the butt finish and repainted the rough 4ft tip gloss black with 4 coats of clear and wrapped new guides from Alps. Then I extended the short factory handle from 5 inches to a full 11. The reel is a cycloid micromatic, one of the first reels with a true active centrifugal brake.
