I was looking for a 10–25g jig rod suitable for long casting zander, and someone recommended the Berkley URBN Drop Shooter 2.4m. Big thanks for the suggestion!

I ordered it last week and it finally arrived today. The rod, including shipping and a 50kr new user discount, cost me 486kr in total.

First impression:
The rod feels really solid overall. It’s 2.4 meters long, rated for 7–28g lures. It’s a fast action rod with a sensitive tip, which should be great for detecting subtle bites and working smaller lures with finesse. The backbone feels strong, so it should handle bigger fish just fine.

That said, there are a couple of minor issues:
• The rod is quite long but the handle is a bit short, which makes it feel slightly top-heavy when holding.
• Also, the EVA grip has a bit of glue residue and isn’t perfectly fitted — but honestly, for this price, I think it’s a great value.

If you also own this rod, feel free to share your experience!
