I’d recommend taking it out a time or two before you start getting into any mods. It’s tempting to jump in and start with mods right away, but by taking it out first you can identify which “problems” you have and be more intentional with your rig. I know there are accessories I bought right away that haven’t been used since.

Get a pfd and use it. Like the other person said-get out there and try it before you go buying a bunch of accessories you might not need. I use a milk crate and bungies to this day as my only âaccessoriesâ. đ

Fish from it for a few times and you’ll start to find answers to your question. Adding a bunch of accessories and mods right away without knowing what is actually needed for your style of fishing is not the way to go.

Start by taking it out. You’ll find out what you need most the fastest that way. If you continually find yourself looking for a place to put your paddle, you know you’ll need a paddle holder, rods getting tangled? You know you need rod holders, ect.
