Hey all I recently picked up a 2019 Vibe Sea Ghost 130 and I’m getting ready to mount a small Minn Kota trolling motor. I’ve been doing a ton of research but still feel stuck between a few mounting options, and could really use advice from folks who’ve done this on a Sea Ghost.
I’ve narrowed it down to a few mounts (pics below). Would love to hear what’s worked best for you:
A few questions I’m still unsure about:
•Which mount would be best for stability and low hassle on this kayak?
•How do you guys usually secure the battery crate in the tank well, inside the hull, or something else?
•Will I still be able to roof rack the kayak with the mount attached?
. 4th pic is The kind that attaches directly to the motor so you can steer using the foot pedals anyone use this?
Also, if anyone has build pics or links to setups that worked well, feel free to drop them I’d love to see how others are running their yaks!.
