I’ve been looking for a budget baitcaster for my first one and came across this lews classic black speed spool is it worth? if not please give some recommendations.

I got 3 for $36 total. Each was $12 I have been trying learn how to use them but hit or a miss.

Yes. I have several Lew’s rods and reels and like them. They are a good value.

I would highly advise against going cheap on a baitcaster setup. IMO, you really need to spend a baseline of +/-$100 on a Baitcast reel. Otherwise your experience will likely be a poor one. You’d be much better off buying a Shimano SLX for about 90 bucks.
