Hello everyone, I had a couple rods lying around that have not been touched in years. I don't know anything about either of these beyond the basic google search and i'm wondering if someone can help me out with telling me how I should proceed with the rods. A friend of mine and I have been talking about fishing for a while but we finally got around to actually getting our permits so I took these out of the garage. we still need to head to a local bait and tackle shop so I just want to make sure we get everything. Im located in Coastal CT in a historical boating/fishing town on the sound in case that helps with anyones assesment of fish around me. Thanks and I look forward to the responses. -iman26

Good luck on your journey. With that much of a question find a local friend and go learn. You can become a good fisherman in an afternoon if the moon is just right and your friend knows what they are talking about.
And they are spinning rods. And spinning reels. I see stickers on them. Don’t waste your time reading all the crap you’ll get posted on here
