New to me kayak, came with a Lowrance Elite 5 Ti. Side scan seems to not be working. Spent 20-30 minutes in the water messing with the settings. If I set the side scan side to down imaging, it works fine. Have a hunch the transducer is possibly messed up? Sonar works perfectly fine tho.

How is the transducer mounted? Is it inside the hull?
