Two of the three latch hooks on the bottom of my Reel Yaks kayak (radar model) have bent over time. They came in good shape, but one way or another they got bent. I’ve only had this Kayak since march and used it around 20 times give or take. I foolishly didn’t set up the warranty online when I bought the kayak, so that’s not an option. Although, I don’t think the warranty would’ve done me any good seeing as the website says parts and accessories only have a 3 month warranty. If I want to buy these latches from the website, it’s $56 plus shipping. I was wondering if there any cheaper alternatives, like buying similar latches from Amazon, although I didn’t find any after a quick search. I don’t really feel safe taking this out on the water, so any help would be appreciated.

See if there is a warranty. There wont be much information on reel yaks because they aren’t a popular brand. They are rebranded mass produced Chinese kayaks you can get a fraction of the price if you ordered them off of aliexpress/alibaba
